A Word From The Pastor
The temperatures are near 100 degrees, hay is being cut, baled, hauled and we are praying for rain between cuttings. During the hottest time of the year we prepare for the coldest.
We have been to a couple of parades and more are in the future. We always have a good turn out at the local parades. This is an outreach to let people know who we are and where we are located.
Pre-teen and youth camps are just around the corner. Let’s pray for our young people while they are there, and pray for our sponsors too!
We had a good turnout for the start of our women’s ministry, and thanks to the men who prepared and served their dinner.
Saddle up to one of our bible studies. Get involved with one of our small group bible studies and learn more about the scriptures and what God has in store for you.
Operation I D was a real success. Many horses were freeze branded, to make it easier to identify them if they come up missing. Thanks Lynn for setting that up.
I thought about Dave Pendergraft coming and singing for us. I thought about the first time he came while we were still in the tent, and he shared a little of his testimony. This time he felt comfortable enough to tell the rest of the story. He told how far he had fallen, before he asked Christ into his life. Jesus doesn’t care what you’ve done, or how low you have fallen. He will always welcome you home.
And remember at Common Ground we don’t care where you’ve been, we just care about where your going.
Pastor Terry
